So there I was, with great intentions to stay the night in Saint-maximine, sunbath a bit and enjoy myself in any other way possible, but it disn't really work out like that.

The first small disapointment was the tourism office or actually their gift to me. I went there, asked for a map with hotels on it, and boy, did I get one. It was more of a small book. Lots of information about the hotels and so on, but the disapointing part came when I checked the prices....well, at first I thought it looked good, well, as long as I thought they were weekly prices. But after the realisation that the 70-300 eur means a price for the night, I wasn't too happy. But then again, these things never have all the hotels and hostels included. And it didn't. I found a number of other hotels but just wandering around the streets as well and some of them were cheaper than 70eur per night.

The prices started from 50...which isn't too great either, but at least its just a bit less. Unfortunately, all the hotels were full, I checked like 7 or 8. And then decided it might be a good idea to go back to St. Raphael. Well, I didn't really care if the bus went to St. Raphael or the other place where the same bus went (maybe it was the same). However, once in the bus, there were only 3 other people beside me the whole way. Me, two other passengers and the very nice looking female driver. I was on my way to Les Arcs.

PS: The internet spot I mentioned in my previous-previous post, well, I found the street, I found the bar, I even found the wireless...but it was password protected and when I asked if I can use it, they said no. Maybe it was me, maybe they only offer it to their regular clientelle, but...internet I didn't get there. Just beer.
